Our buying take
Treat the iPhone 17 Pro as a separate buying decision, not an automatic upgrade from the standard iPhone 17. Decide which Pro features you will actually use, then compare the extra total cost over the same contract length and data allowance.

Choosing an Apple iPhone 17 Pro deal
Is the Pro premium worthwhile?
Compare the standard iPhone 17 alongside the Pro before choosing. Check the manufacturer specifications for the camera and other features that matter to you. A more expensive phone is not necessarily the better deal for everyday messaging, browsing and calls.
What makes one Pro deal better than another?
Start with the same storage and phone condition, then compare total cost including the upfront payment and disclosed price rises. Check coverage at home and work and choose a realistic data allowance. A cheaper contract is poor value if the network or allowance does not suit you.
Should I choose a longer contract?
A longer term can lower the monthly bill while increasing the amount you pay overall and keeping you committed for longer. Use the contract-length filter to compare like-for-like deals, and read the retailer terms before applying.
