How the coverage checker works
There are four mobile networks in the UK with their own masts: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Every other provider, such as giffgaff, iD Mobile, Sky Mobile or VOXI, rents space on one of them, so it gets the same coverage as its host network.
We use Ofcom’s coverage predictions for each address in your postcode. “Indoors” means the signal should reach inside your home; “outdoors” means it may only work outside. If you’re happy with your current coverage, a cheaper SIM on the same network keeps it.
