How we make money

Our service is free. When you click through to a retailer and buy, the retailer may pay us a commission. This never changes the price you pay.

Commission does not affect how deals are ranked: results are sorted by the option you choose, such as total cost or monthly cost.

When several retailers sell exactly the same deal at the same price, we show it once and list the other retailers underneath. The retailer shown first is simply the one we found first, not the one that pays us most.

By default we show 24 and 36-month contracts, so short plans where you buy the phone outright are not compared against them. Our “from £x a month” prices only include deals with £100 or less to pay upfront, unless a phone has no such deals.

The “Popular” label marks the phones whose “Buy now” buttons the most different visitors have clicked in the last 30 days. A click is not a sale, so it shows interest, not how many have been sold. Retailers do not pay for it and cannot change it.

Total costs include any price rises the network has already announced during the contract, so deals with yearly rises are compared fairly with fixed-price deals.
